European Account Manager - Indirect Tax Software Sales - London

Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior European Account Manager to join a global organisation dealing with large corporate accounts. We are looking for someone who is a motivated self-starter with a demonstrated history in sales and a history of selling complex ERP software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting new business with senior Tax Operations, Compliance and IT executives and perform a detailed qualification of leads within the EMEA region to uncover clients issues.
  • Attending conferences, representing the organisation professionally and managing the timely follow up of all leads.
  • Demonstrating complex software solutions and learning and understanding industry best practice to position yourself and the organisation as a leader.
  • To work closely with the client on the appropriate solutions, liaising with internal pre-sales specialists to present comprehensive information back to the client.
  • Leveraging an internal team as well as Big 4 partners in an organised manner with clear attention to detail.

Skills

  • Experience selling in a complex software solutions environment (preferably financial and tax related solutions).
  • Experience managing and closing large complex deals.
  • Experience selling large implementation projects that are ERP/ financial transformation related.
  • Detailed understanding of the solution sales process and an understanding of financial systems.
  • Previous sales experience in a B2B sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a tenacious attitude and determination to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail orientated with an ability to write reports with good computer literacy skills.
  • An ability to understand, communicate and demonstrate the technical benefits of the company's software solutions.
  • Problem solver with imagination to restructure solutions in line with client requirements.
