We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect to join our Global IS team based in our London HQ. The role will see you form part of a global Architecture team within a Fortune 500 multinational organisation.
As part of a global team the Enterprise Cloud Architect will be responsible/accountable to working together with the technology partners for building, testing, and delivering key solutions which help meet the objective and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing the architectural strategy and guardrails for internal cloud hosting services - "infrastructure as a service" as well as "platform as a service"
  • The creation of the technical architecture and design for cloud deployments which support major technology implementations, ensuring security and privacy by design
  • Ensuring that cloud technology products and solutions in use across the organisation, particularly those which underpin the organisation's digital foundations, align with the technology vision set out in the Global IT Playbook
  • Researching new cloud technology and keeping up to date with service changes from major cloud vendors and producing roadmaps for the adoption of cloud technologies and solutions
  • Implementing a service-oriented mindset across cloud solutions (also known as "product line management") to produce reusable solution components which provide predictable business outcomes whilst hiding technical complexity

Skills:

  • Experience with a broad set of technologies and open to adapting, learning new technologies
  • Experience with Cloud technologies - Azure, AWS
  • Excellent communication - experience presenting to Senior Leadership
  • Ability to work independently and with Senior Leadership.
  • Relevant formal qualifications include enterprise architecture (TOGAF), service management (ITIL), project management (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile), security, privacy, and technical certifications
