Role: End User Technical Architect
Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Role Description:

  • The End User Technology Architect is an expert in Workplace Services.
  • The Technical Architect role is the focal point ensuring technical integrity and ownership of the landscape architecture within an account assignment. Working with the client, Service Management, Global Experts, Technical Engineering and the appropriate Customer Operation units, the Architect ensures a coherent and consistent technical strategy is applied, providing technical direction on Workplace infrastructure solutions within the account or project.
  • Technical Architect should be aware of developments in technical strategy and innovation processes as these evolve and apply them to the specific needs of the account. This is to ensure that the client derives maximum benefit from wider experience/perspectives, and solutions and architectures being deployed conform to client policies wherever possible.

Key tasks include:

  • Analyse business and technical requirements to ensure the Workplace solution is aligned accordingly
  • Create and review HLD's as required
  • Know and understand the account infrastructure architecture across all constituent parts
  • Provide support and guidance to Customer Operations
  • Work with client's architecture teams and Delivery Units from multiple service lines to ensure technical solutions are fit for purpose
  • Provide direction and guidance on all technical aspects of the Workplace Services IT infrastructure, ensuring adherence to relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices
  • Ensure appropriate design documentation is produced
  • Understand the technical risks associated with each aspect of the service and/or projects for the account and provide escalation of risks and issues as appropriate.


  • ISEB
  • Prince2
  • ITIL
  • Accreditation in a recognized Architecture Framework.
  • Technical domain specific technologies such as Windows 10, Linux, Office 365 etc.
