About the role

We're looking to recruit an Electrical/Electronics Engineering Lecturer to join our Advanced Engineering Science (AES) training team on site at MoD Lyneham to teach the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (REME).

You will be responsible for the delivery of training Electrical/Electronics course modules to trainees/students in line with the training timetable as scheduled by Training Planning and assist with the technical administration of training and equipment as directed by the Department Lead Lecturer. The courses vary from teaching new recruits an electrical avionics course and a more advanced electronics degree to the experienced REME engineers.

You will teach fundamental principles of electrical/electronics engineering to a class of military students. This will include Digital Signal Processing, Analogue Electronics and Mathematics.

This is an excellent opportunity for stepping away from a more hands on role, passing on your knowledge to the next generation whilst being sponsored to complete Teaching qualifications.

What do I need to do the role?

You will have a Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar electrically bias degree and be confident in delivering teaching to a class of students. Instructional experience of technical subjects in a military environment is desirable bit not essential.
