Electrical Manufacturing Engineer


12 Months Contract

£40 p/h

Role Summary:

  • Engineering associated with the Manufacturing Process. Position requiring understanding of concepts, methods and procedures.
  • Working with existing Team providing support in a Production environment to Production Operations and rework.

Key Activities:

  • Production based Technical Support for Operations and Rework
  • Creation/Amendment of new or existing build documentation/tooling/processes.
  • Interprets data and acts as technical authority for build process authoring and tooling selection. Recommends actions using Engineering knowledge and experience/judgement. Influences Design for Manufacture. Identify and implement the delivery of continuous improvement and the transfer of best practice.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent.
  • Interact and work well with people from the business unit across all functions including direct team and Team Leader.
  • Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
  • Validating build of product and ensuring stable manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or a high school diploma/GED with proven years of experience in Manufacturing) or equivalent knowledge & experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft and PDF tools.
  • Knowledge of FAI, MRL (Manufacturing Readiness Level), PFMEA
