Role: Electronics Inspector
Location: Nailsea (Bristol)
Duration: 6 Month initial contract
Pay: Competitive hourly rate + Shift premiums
Night and Day shifts available.
Role Summary:
The QC Inspector will be responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role, you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain Control over manufacturing record documents
- Track non-conformance report closures and implement adequate corrective actions
- Ensure all manufacturing process steps have been completed
- Verify that product is manufactured according to specified technical and process requirements
- Verify effective implementation of workmanship standards and that specified product requirements are met
- Perform follow-up activities to close out audit findings and measure improvements
- Provide training to personnel if deficiencies are found with specific duties identified in procedures and technical requirements
- Perform, document, and report out on inspections on critical or identified parts
- Assist in performing ISO required tasks, such as Internal Audit reports
- Assist with preparation, scheduling and conducting of internal quality audits
- Report any accidents or injuries while on the job
Desired:
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, policies and procedures
- Knowledgeable regarding inspection procedures in a relevant manufacturing environment (automotive, controls, aviation)
- Familiarity with Internal Quality Auditing for ISO 9001:2008
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- IPC 610 certificate
- IPC 620 certificate
- J-STD-001 certificate
- Workstation auditor training
