Customer Support Engineer (EDBS Cleared) - Bellshill (Scotland) - initial 4 month contract

Customer Support Engineer (EDBS Cleared) required to join a reputable ICT support and teaching company focusing on providing on-site support to a school in Bellshill on an initial 4 month contract with the view to extend.

Due to the urgent nature of the role and working in the school environment, the client ideally requires that candidates hold current active Enhanced DBS clearance.

Duties:

  • Provide direct support to customers by taking calls, resolving support issues and responding to general queries.
  • Provide day to day management and support for the client's range of Cloud based solutions.
  • Log support calls on behalf of customers and liaise directly with them either via telephone or via support online to resolve those calls to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Escalate calls in a timely and effective manner and ensure that any product defects captured and escalated quickly and effectively.

Key Skills

  • Provide 1st / 2nd line telephone based technical support to customers who call in with technical problems or other queries on a range of Cloud based products such as Office 365.
  • Manage a queue of support on platforms such as Microsoft Server 2008 and 2012
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • SQL Scripting
  • Database administration
