eCommerce Executive (English & Spanish fluency)

We are actively looking to secure an eCommerce Executive to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities

The eCommerce Executive will support the wider eCommerce team with the day-to-day management of the on-site activity on the eCommerce site.

Initially you will focus on the launch plan, which will encompass multiple projects at any one time; from ensuring we are showing the right content at the right time, creating bespoke landing pages that support the marketing campaigns, setting up analytics to ensure they use data and insights to help identify areas of opportunity - and of course and most importantly, collaborating with wider teams, including the designers and technology to deliver to their ambitious deadlines.

You will think of new and exciting ways to showcase the products and content to help create a seamless, engaging and highly converting website. More specifically you will:

  • Become the initial expert on the market leading CMS, to build all pages for the new site. You will be supported by UK teams, but will be the lead in overseeing the delivery of all pages for launch
  • Support the eCommerce team in Madrid to manage day-to-day site activity, planned product launches, offers and promotions.
  • Effectively maintain a content calendar, to ensure they showcase the most engaging and relevant content to drive consideration and conversion.
  • Build optimised landing pages and bespoke online journeys via the CMS (Content Management System) to support marketing campaigns and trading initiatives
  • Work with the wider eCommerce team to develop creative briefs for site content, ensuring they adhere to their principles.
  • Write, edit and publish engaging web copy in line with approved messaging guidance.
  • Collaborate with the Optimisation team to identify, prioritise and develop both experiments and personalisation campaigns that allow them to continually optimise the site.
  • Support product and proposition changes, creating plans, delivering site-wide updates and adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Alongside the eCommerce team and eCommerce Lead, you will challenge existing merchandising practices
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments within the eCommerce space, making recommendations based on competitor activity.
  • Conduct reporting duties to identify actionable insights and report back to stakeholders.

Candidate Specification

To be successful in this role you need to be passionate about the eCommerce space, knowledgeable on what makes a great online experience and full of ideas and enthusiasm for delivering it.

You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable presenting ideas and designs to stakeholders.

You will need to be customer centric, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do and also have a good general understanding of online marketing.

Above all, you must possess interminable levels of enthusiasm in order that you are constantly optimising and growing our eCommerce business.

You will also be fluent (written and spoken) in both Spanish and English, as although based in the UK - you will be working on the Spanish website and liaising daily with the Madrid office.

Key Skill Set & Experience:

  • You have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to simultaneously deliver a number of projects at the same time.
  • You have superb marketing skills and are able to deliver highly effective campaigns on site
  • You are results driven and thrive in a fast paced environment with ambitious growth plans and targets
  • You have excellent analytical skills
  • It would be ideal if you have experience using a CMS (Content Management System), or making regular customer-facing updates within a digital environment such as social media or email marketing is highly beneficial.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
  • You are a proactive self-starter with strong bias for action.
