Divisional Business Analyst Location: GreenfordJob Type: Permanent, Full Time Due to significant growth, we are currently recruiting a Divisional Business Analyst to work within the Maritime Division at a world-leading Engineering company. The company is listed on the FTSE250 and works in the defence industry, and this role will be within the underwater warfare division. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent analytical skills to join the team and make a real difference to the business. You will be responsible for - Providing insightful operational, financial and marketing information to facilitate business decisionsExtracting data from multiple sources using expert Excel analysis skillsEnabling visibility of profitability at product, customer and market levelProviding high quality, on-time data reporting for the KPI measurementsCompleting budget analysis to aid the businessOverseeing business internal audit and controls You will have - Qualified accountant, preferably ACAExpert Excel skills, including analytical tools and ability to extract data from non-Microsoft sourcesExperience in an engineering environment would be highly desirable, or a similar complex project industryUnderstanding of JSON, XML and SQL information structuresSeveral years' experience in a similar role would be desirableExcellent communication skills with the ability to deliver complex information in an easy to understand formatHighly organised, with the ability to work on several activities at the same timeVery strong knowledge of auditing techniques and financial control principlesAbility to obtain SC security clearance You will be joining a company with the commitment to produce only the highest quality and service, and strive for excellence in everything they do.
