Principal Engineer - district heating, CAD, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, construction design, pressure system standards, SAP We are looking for a District Heating Principal Engineer to join our team of consultants at Experis. Working with one of our clients you you will take the lead on the technical and engineering development of district heating schemes, ensuring the delivery of design against budgets. You'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle from initial consultation through to developing concept and detailed designs as well as providing technical support during construction and operation. You'll coordinate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the design of safe, efficient and functional district heating systems. Responsibilities:All Configuration Management activities.Own and manage the NSoIT(D) CM Plan and place the current Project solution under Configuration Management control by generating a complimentary Project CM Model, Plan, Repository and Measurements.Integrate Configuration Management activities into the Engineering Change Management processesProvide quality control for Build and Configuration documentationManage the CMDB for NSoIT(D) installations across all domainsSupport Development activity so artefacts are controlled and made available for inclusion in the Project\Engineering life-cycle as required.Ensure the CM environment facilitates product review, and change and defect tracking activities.Be responsible for reporting progress statistics based on change requests.Manage the administration of CM RAIDOBe capable of managing a small team to deliver the above servicesImmediate tasks:Capture Project CIs into an appropriate CI/CM Model (Data Terminating, Data Connecting, Firmware/Software) that represent the Queen Elizabeth and Prince of Wales Carrier Platforms.Place Corsham Ark (CARK) under proper Config and CM Control ensuring implementation matches Solution Design, identifying differences and discrepancies.Ensure project reference environment such as PTP builds mirror CARKEnsure adjustments or modifications created within reference environments are appropriately captured and flowed back to Engineering for assessment and inclusion into the Solution Design as requiredAssess and capture the System Test baselinePlace the System Test Baseline under CM controlCapture System ObservationsQEC specific: Under QEC Project Manager's D&G; stand up and administer, a Joint System Sentencing Board (JSSB) to capture System Observations for sentencing and create Project; System Problem Reports (SPRs)Details:Location: CorshamDuration: permanentSalary: £85,000 - £95,000Benefits:22 days Holiday per annumLife AssuranceEmployee Assisted ProgrammeChildcare vouchers (Tax & NI free)Please apply by submitting your CV.
