The Opportunity:

As a Digital Security Consultant, you'll be applying your skills and experience to support our business of defining and delivering Cyber Security, Risk, Resilience, Privacy and Information Management solutions for our clients. The range of work we undertake is wide, including risk assessments, information security, data privacy and management, business resilience and IT audit, and we are looking for a wide range of skills and varied industry experience rather than deep expert skills in any specific specialism.

Technical skills - Experience and knowledge of assessing, designing and implementing capabilities and solutions in one or more of our Core Subjects:

  • Cyber Security Management & Assurance
  • Security Strategy and Solutions
  • Operational Risk and Business Resilience
  • Data Privacy and Protection
  • Information Assurance

Skills we'd like:

  • Experience and understanding of working in multiple business environments and market verticals
  • Certification in one or more Security disciplines such as CISSP, CISA
  • Good understanding and some experience of Cloud technologies
  • Previous experience or interest in working in globally distributed workforce environments, including offshore models
  • Experience in integrating digital solutions into an organisation`s strategy, vision, and aspirations
  • Awareness and insight into current and developing market and industry trends, and their potential impact on our clients
  • Data and Business requirements gathering and analysis

Your day-to-day responsibilities are likely to include:

  • Working individually or in a delivery team, engaging directly with clients to deliver consultancy, advice and Solutions
  • Creating or contributing totypicaldeliverables such as
    • Operational and security risk assessments
    • Security Design reviews
    • IT System audits
    • Cybersecurity strategies
    • Organisation of penetration tests or IT Health Checks
    • Review of changes for security impact on existing systems
    • GDPR compliance assessments
    • Data Privacy assessments and reviews
  • Provide support to Senior Consultants or Engagement Managers by running work packages or engagements, contributing to or owning the production of deliverables for the Engagement Manager to review.
  • Mentoring or supporting junior colleagues
  • Undertaking interviews and project meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • Supporting the preparation of Proposal and Bid documentation
  • Supporting and contributing to the development of new Products and Offerings to keep our business at the leading edge of our markets

This role is available UK Wide. Our Practice supports clients throughout the UK and works closely with our colleagues in other regions to support international clients. Candidates need to be fully flexible and ready to travel to and operate from client sites, and must be eligible for, or already possess, UK SC clearance.
