The work location is in Paddington, LONDON and is a 3 months contract.

Pay rate is between £200 - £300 per day.

The role is working for a well established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

A unique and exciting temporary position has emerged to provide support to a high-profile strategic project within the Fresh Foods business.

This newly created role has been challenged in generating Flowers & Plants display guidance we can use to communicate display principles to our stores and implement the summer and autumn ranges. Our current process with JDA planogram software is unsuitable for generating Flowers & Plants display guidance. So, we rely on Marketing resource to create visual advice for the seasonal/phase documents, using a tool called Sketch Up.

Will be given a brief and told to draw / build in sketch up. The right candidate will be designing what the store will look like before it lands. Create images for store, product, props, VM layouts, store layouts.
Any background - but retail preferred

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain Equipment and Image Asset database
  • Build Summer and Autumn 2019 Ranges in Sketch Up across various equipment types and store sizes
  • Liaise with Category Teams and Suppliers to obtain all packaging and product images
  • Work Closely with Range & Display Planner on Assortment and Display principles
  • Support the internal review process and sign off
  • Produce Retail Engagement packs for all format and size of stores

Key skills and experience

  • Proficient in following software packages
    • Trimble SketchUp 2018
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • V-Ray (for rendering)
  • Ability to build equipment from technical drawings.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills are essential. Key relationships and stakeholders: Range & Display Teams, Retail Central Traders, Buyers & Suppliers, Marketing & in-house creative/production teams, Supply Chain Teams
  • Proactive team player with a positive mindset who is self-motivated, and solution orientated
  • Able to multitask and work independently in a fast pace environment
  • Effective time management skills - this is key to ensure that key critical path deadlines can be met
  • Systems & programmes experience
  • Advanced proficiency of using Microsoft Excel essential
