Digital Business Analyst - .Net / Api's

Permanent position based in Kings Cross - Salary up to 80k

My client, a major financial services organisation, is recruiting for a Digital Business Analyst as they go through a period of rapid growth as a result of significant investment. Located in the technology hub of King Cross and based in offices that are market-leading, you will be involved in supporting the ongoing delivery of technology; continuing to improve the product and experience for their customers through the delivery of digital self-service, operational improvement and regulatory solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team, building new technology in a fast growing business. As a Digital Business Analyst and a member of a self-managing scrum team you will:

  • Analyse problems and business needs into user stories and supporting requirements ensuring they are communicated effectively
  • Understand the technology to ensure business needs are met and constraints are understood
  • Provide understanding of the operation, limitations and processes supported by related systems to define and develop APIs

Essential Criteria:

  • A background as a senior developer would be ideal with experience of technologies such as Azure, .Net (core), Javascript frameworks, Restful APIs, C#.
  • Demonstrable experience of performing an analysis / design role for substantial digital solutions working an Agile delivery environment (e.g. Scrum/Kanban)
  • Experience of FinTech, Software Engineering business
  • Experience in API tooling, e.g. Swagger
  • A solid understanding of agile User Stories and the application of BDD/TDD etc
  • Understands and/or has operated in the role of Product Owner in Scrum
  • Demonstrable technical competency in digital domain (e.g. development background) with enthusiasm to maintain technical understanding
