The work location is in READING and is an initial 3 months contract.

Pay rate is between £250 - £350 per day.

The role is working for a multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences company and one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world.

Job Purpose
The Digital Analyst will be an active part of the client's digital transformation effort, specifically driving initiatives on web, social and emerging technologies. They will manage and maintain Digital Asset Management platforms, and work on keeping content updated on eDetailing systems and Web Content Management platforms.
They will work with the business to help them achieve their specific goals using most the appropriate toolset and guide them on new opportunities that the internal and external technical landscape will create. They will work with Specialists on long term, large scale projects and own smaller works of their own
The candidate will be technically astute and be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Training and small projects will be provided to enable the candidate to develop within the position.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Business as Usual: support and administer existing systems under the ITDigital remit WebCM (TeamSite, Drupal), CLM (Agnitio, IMCM components), Sprinklr (social), Digital Asset Management (MIRA, ADAM), Domain & Certificate management.
  • Investigate new and emerging technologies and trends that could offer competitive advantage to our business and communicate them effectively to a wider IT audience and potential business stakeholders.
  • Ensure systems are compliant both legally and with special regard to information security.
  • To participate actively with their manager to identify training requirements and record training received, in order to enable the Company to maintain a workforce with skills and knowledge appropriate to the business objectives.



Qualifications

  • Typically educated to GCSE (or equivalent) level with a minimum of Grade C in English. A qualification in IT/computing/systems is highly desirable.
  • ITIL foundation qualification is desirable.
  • Any Microsoft certified professional qualifications are very desirable.
  • Good knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office and a good understanding of hardware. Good IT skills are required to use the IT Service Desk & supporting systems.



Experiences

  • Excellent knowledge & experience of Autonomy TeamSite, Drupal 8.x (specifically Acquia Cloud Site Factory) and/or another web CMS. Knowledge & experience of Agile project methodology, specifically SCRUM. Certification in any of the above technologies.
  • Experience in Digital Asset Management tools
  • Experience in using and managing analytics tools to draw business insight - specifically Google Analytics
  • Knowledge and experience of LAMP & IIS/.Net hosting platforms



PREFERRED:

  • Knowledge of Agnitio, Sprinklr, Veeva (Vault & CRM). Understanding of LAMP technologies, and IIS/.Net as hosting platforms. Mobile platform (Android, iOS) management experience.



DESIRABLE:

  • ITIL: Foundation certified and/or experience of working in an ITIL framework-based organisation.
  • Broad understanding of digital workplace and cloud-based services: IaaS, SaaS, PaaS and HaaS
  • Good general experience of mobile platform devices: Android and IOS devices
  • Good knowledge of various browser-based solutions: IE, Firefox, etc.
  • Previous experience within a customer services role
  • Highly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing priorities
  • Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organisation.
