DevOps Engineer, Azure - £100k +bonus

We're looking for exceptional individuals to join us as DevOps Engineers; whether you are an Azure Engineer looking to establish yourself in a DevOps environment or an established DevOps Engineer looking to step up and fast track to a lead position, this is a work culture in which you will receive full autonomy to forge your future career path.

Our business is going from strength to strength, in fact, we've grown from a team of 50 to around 800 in just 3 years! Now, we're looking for permanent specialists to grow with us. Located in the technology hub of King's Cross, we're in modern and open plan offices that encapsulate a contemporary and collaborative work culture.

In return you'll be provided with a very competitive salary up to £85,697 per annum, an attractive bonus and double matched pension. Not only this, but you will also have the chance to fast track to Lead Engineer in 6 months and advise on the future direction of the team.

The ideal candidate

  • Experience working with Azure
  • Delivery / customer focused
  • Proficient in operating system admin
  • Proficient in automation, build, packaging and release
  • Agile experience
  • DevOps tooling
  • Cloud technologies

What you'll do

  • Assess environmental needs of a project in terms of development, test and live service need. Example environments include performance testing and staging & integration
  • Work collaboratively with other areas of the business
  • Be part of a team of platform and automation specialists
  • Take ownership of specific issues and take action to resolve them within specific deadlines
  • Set up and use version control system and code management technologies for collaboration, review and management of projects
  • Act as a role model, communicating clear direction and setting changes into context for others
  • Being involved in the wider development community, identifying good practices and sharing experiences
