Job Role - Defect Manager

Location: London (white city)

Duration: 6 months

We are actively looking to secure two Senior Project Managers to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

End client requires a Defect Manager:

The Defect Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Monitoring of Remedy and Jira systems, and email for new tickets and workloads
  • Review, accept and initial assessment (triage) of incoming tickets
  • Update and redirection of tickets, and management to resolution within SLA
  • Problem management (relating common issues and trends)
  • Manage ELS defect governance and reporting
  • Escalations to Test Lead, ELS lead, W10 lead PM and Portfolio Manager
  • Report into the ELS lead manager
  • Dashboard development and presentation
  • Attendance at internal and client facing reviews and workshops
  • Direct a team of 5 - 6 tech resources, and multiple SMEs and Tower resources

The Defect Manager capability, skills and experience include:

  • Desktop deployment project experience
  • Technical infrastructure awareness (Network/VPN/Hosting/Apps/Desktops/SaaS)
  • Ability to direct resources to priority issues and defects
  • Focus on prioritisation
