Decision Support Finance Manager - Competitive Salary -Central London

We are looking for a Finance Manager to work for a leading global business in Central London.

As the Finance Manager you will manage, monitor and report on key performance metrics across the organisation, including coordinating forecasts, monthly reporting and other standard process across the wider finance group.

The position will form part of a team who are key participants in providing value-added analysis and reporting to the management team. The opportunity will provide exposure at the highest levels of the organisation and build expertise in a broad range of compelling areas.

You will have a proven track record of working in a high pressure environment and demonstrate the ability to work on several projects/deliverables simultaneously.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Review and participate in the consolidation of Actuals, Forecasts, Annual Plan, Business Analysis processes
  • Gather and prepare financial information and other data for senior management; including providing recommendations and suggesting alternative actions through insight
  • Monitor key metrics closely to identify or to anticipate shortfalls or other shifts in the business requiring corrective action
  • Develop solid relationships with all areas of the business and demonstrate an ability to be an effective partner
  • Drive process improvements through identifying and leveraging best practices across the organisation
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis when necessary
  • Support M&A co-ordination

Qualification/ Skills & Attributes:

  • Professional finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Extensive experience gained in Management Accounting or Performance Management roles.
  • Self-starter with the ability to drive a project without close guidance or supervision
  • Ability to synthesise information and present results in a clear and concise manner to senior executives
  • Proven track record of managing a high performance team and talent development
  • Strong leadership and management skills
