Data Quality Lead

The role is to lead the clients business efforts to cleanse its data as part of our global Finance and Procurement transformation programme. The role will sit in our data team aligned to the I2C Process tower working as part of a multidisciplinary core team (process, data, org design, systems, change and communications) which is implementing a simplified and standardised landscape across the Group Finance function.

The role is important because the programme replaces a large part of our old Finance systems across the client Group. This transformation includes the implementation of an SAP/Hana platform. In order to move from our old systems to new, we need to cleanse and enrich our data so that it is fit for and relevant to migrate into our new S4 systems.

This role requires a hands-on business focus to managing and delivering data cleansing for the MFB project. Senior stakeholder engagement will be required in the programme and with the business.

Your accountabilities:

Cleanse:

  • Define and structure realistic cleanse plans working with the other DQ leads to have a coherent approach for the business.
  • Create, modify and track the I2C data cleanse plan for specific data objects working with Business Unit Data Single Points of Contact (SPOCs), Legacy Application SMEs, Project Data Leads and Data Quality Team.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively and with respect whilst ensuring the programme and business achieves its desired outcomes in line with the programme plan.

Skills required for the job:

  • Finance data cleanse lead experience (systems and process), enterprise scale, ideally SAP/HANA.
  • Excellent communication skills, constructively engaging with project and business teams (written and verbal).
  • Management of Microsoft Project plans, use of excel, production of PPT slide presentations, reports.
  • Able to work at pace, producing accurate quality deliverables on time.
  • Able to motivate people to deliver and across matrix teams.
  • Supporting team leads and Subject Matter Experts in project and data disciplines.
  • Experience of I2C and SAP FICO data.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Project management experience.
  • Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA).

Experience you would be expected to have:

Mandatory:

  • Data conversion experience in a large complex organisation.
  • Multiple years data cleanse experience in Invoice to Cash areas.

Preferred:

  • SAP HANA
  • Agile & lean delivery practices.
  • Data reconciliation experience.
  • Oracle subledger experience in AR.#
