Data Quality Analyst

Telford - Travel to other sites may be required

Summary of the role:

  • Responsible for the investigation of data quality issues and opportunities, able to independently analyse current processes and data, executing the collection, management and analysis of data, creating recommendations for improvements and implementing agreed solutions.
  • Analytical and data-handling skills are paramount, requiring experience of identification, collection and analysing large amounts of complex information, able to apply analytical and problem solving techniques to drive root cause analysis relating to quality issues, using evidence, sound judgement and knowledge to produce and arrive at accurate decisions.
  • Leading, working with and communicating regularly with multiple stakeholders, able to influence and manage relationships effectively, facilitating workshops in support of identification of root causes, maintaining the focus to deliver compelling messages, solutions and business benefit.
  • Oversees the planning and implementation of agreed solutions to address data quality issues, maintaining the pace of delivery.
  • Requires someone with a track record of delivery of process & quality improvement initiatives in an IT Service Management environment.
  • Requires experience of data quality optimisation and ability to take the initiative to create and deliver effective change.

Required Skills:

  • Candidates must have experience of running projects to deliver and improve data quality
  • Must demonstrate autonomy, pace and be proactive
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt)
  • ITIL Practitioner certified
  • Advanced Excel skills - strong experience managing and manipulating data.
  • MS Access skills
  • Experience of Assyst would be beneficial

Other information:

Experience of data collection, data management, data profiling and analysis is required.
