A Data Quality Analyst is required to join the UK's Leading Engineering Support Services Organisation as part of their Internal IS Division based in Lakeside, Portsmouth. Joining a brand new team, this is an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in the development of the role and team.

As a Data Quality Analyst you will be responsible for managing, assessing and coordinating the data that is held within our systems. You will manage and develop the skills to ensure consistency and accuracy across the key data assets both as part of Data Migration activities associated with one major SAP Programme as well as steady BAU.

A subject matter expert in data standardisation and quality assessment (in terms of process and tools)

Establish and support a Data Quality framework that can be applied to Babcock's key Data Assets.

Work with Business Data Owners to establish roadmaps and targets to improve the current state of their data's quality.

Creating solutions as to whether they are met - Extract the data/run it against the rules, then managing the business to address the anomalies

Ensure delivery of key Data Quality KPI's to your key stake holders to support pro-active management of the quality the data

Essential Skills

Technical demonstrable experience of Data Management, particularly Data Migration activities especially in relation to ERP (SAP) Programs.

Broad knowledge of the business modules covering Projects, Finance, HR, Supply Chain and Procurement

Experience of Data Tools such as SAP BODS and/or Trillium

Ideally you will have knowledge of Information Steward and NDG but not essential.

Extensive experience of managing the creation of work packages to ensure the delivery of data quality solutions to an agreed standard

Will have previously worked for a large multi-site and complex organisation , who has facilitated and built key relationships across the organisation to establish a framework and governance will enable the increase of data quality.

Personable Skills

With the team being relevant new you must be experienced and self-sufficient.

Personable and Professional, able to proactively present yourself to key stakeholders

Encourage the business to see the value of Data.

You will be required to hold SC Clearance or be able to obtain SC on acceptance of the position.
