Role Title: Data Modeller/Business Analyst
Location: London(Ist Preference) or Sheffield (2nd Preference)

Role description:
"Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical reasoning
  • Highly developed analytical skills to extract information from data and translate to business language and financial impacts
  • Ability to manage time effectively to ensure delivery of multiple projects
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate analysis and recommendations to colleagues at different levels of the organisation
  • Data literate with experience of manipulating large data sets via SAS programming and ideally Teradata and/or R
  • Degree level education in a numerate discipline
  • Ability to coach and manage analysts across levels



Experience:

  • Experience of applying analytical techniques to data to produce explanatory or predictive results
  • Have directly relevant experience of working in an analytical role within financial services or an alternative data driven organisation
  • Exposed to direct interactions with stakeholders and business colleagues at different levels of the organisation



Knowledge:

  • Have and maintain up to date knowledge and awareness of commercial and business issues that affect the job holder's role and responsibilities"
