Your duties will include:

*Anticipating and reviewing receipt of data streams, downloading and checking each source to ensure the data is delivered as expected.

*Contacting clients and data vendors when data has an issue or late.

*Ensuring the data is delivered and processed to timescale.

*Investigation and reporting to team on bugs and other issues to be resolved.

*Client Websites to be deployed.

*For our client sites you shall, attach databases and be involved in the uploading process.

*Process testing and documentation when secure and stable. When updates production process has taken place, updating the process documentation.

*Routine house-keeping of data-bases including archiving old data sets and making sure everything is running smoothly.

Essential skills

  • Background in IT.

Essential understanding of ETL process would be an advantage and a must is understanding of database structures

  • Organised, Efficient and Able to Multi-task.

Time Management is key within this fast paced environment requiring team members to be reactive when needed.

  • Communication Skills Key.

Confident on communication with different time zones across the world. This will also include different management levels.

  • Problem-Solver.

Problem resolution within the production process, requiring strong details reporting to the support team.

  • Team Player.

The department within Data Management is increasing in it's levels of work load. Being a team player is an essential and core value of our business. Help others and request help when you need it.

  • Flexibility.

There may need to be flexibility within working hours due to the needs of the business with clients in different time zones. This can be different to normal working hours.

  • Innovate.

The processes will ever involve, along with your analysis and contribution we want to see where you think you can make the processes better.

Non-essential but desirable skills

  • Experience within disparate data sets.
  • Website deployment - training provided if necessary.
  • VBA, Macros, SQL understanding but also Excel important.
  • IT experience - moving data, maintaining server, data upload and website attachment.
  • Forecasts and Scheduling.
  • Salesforce and JIRA experience desired.
  • Process Documentation.
