Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Ensure business-as-usual reporting on time-tracking compliance is available in a timely manner and meeting the audience's needs, maintaining the related training and reference materials, and providing answers and other training support as needed
  • Defining best technical solutions to deliver customer requirements within the new work management tool. Act in a system admin' capacity for the tool, supporting users
  • Manage the API interface extracting data from Workfront into Oracle using Python and Informatica
  • Work with the team to drive and constantly improve data transparency in all of our tools to improve reporting and business decisions
  • Develop new reporting for specific initiatives and governance needs as they arise
  • Conduct investigations and evaluations of data output to answer questions, correct errors, and improve data quality and processes
  • Build and maintain a network of key contacts across F&R to share knowledge and gain an understanding of potential tooling, data and process impacts to F&R Technology
  • Drive efficiencies and effectiveness in the analytical data reporting processes

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Reporting and data analysis; able to visually represent data and processes in an easy to understand manner.
  • Highly analytical with attention to detail
  • Experience using Python to extract and load data
  • Ability to extract real and useful MI requirements from users, synthesise this information and present succinctly
  • Familiarity with different data visualisation techniques and tools to optimise the presentation of business intelligence
  • Strong on time and work management to deliver high quality information to demanding deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build close relationships and interact with colleagues at various levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities with partners and stakeholders in a professional manner
  • An excellent understanding of both quantitative and qualitative information and the ability to combine these to form accurate and realistic forecasting views and business insights, upon which to make decisions
  • Creativity and innovation: Continuously maintain an innovative mindset whist operating with a set of defined internal and external communication processes
  • Advanced Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience using Workfront (or other PPM tools such as JIRA)
  • Experience of Oracle (or SQL based) data warehouse
  • Experience using Tableau for visualization
  • Experience using Informatica for ETL
  • Experience using VBA in Excel
  • Knowledge of Finance & Risk or IT development organizations
