Client Overview:
Our client is one of the world's largest banking and financial services organisations. Their customers range from individual savers and investors to some of the world's biggest companies, governments and international organisations. They aim to connect them to opportunities and help them to achieve their ambitions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for delivery activities to achieve the objectives/ requirements
- Contribute detailed SME knowledge in areas of Data Quality analysis and remediation across Finance Change Delivery & Risk pertaining to operational losses data
- Documentation of functional and technical design documentation, requirements gathering, data translation and management throughout the project life cycle ensuring use of appropriate tools and techniques for the context and application of the required standards
- Manipulate/ analyse large data sets and have experience integrating various processes into a singular rationalised approach
- Mobilise cross-regional/ functional discussions
- Ensure that the delivered solution follows robust, industrialised procedures and meets the required audit and control requirements
- Apply Agile and DevOps concepts to ways of working, where appropriate, including participating in and running scrum teams
- Manage detailed definition of system requirements, with traceability through design, development, configuration and testing approach
- Apply an understanding of Business and Finance priorities, drivers and challenges to lead design of strategically aligned solutions, considering aspects of Risk/ Reward
- Influence and collaborate with stakeholders, to build consensus and shape change outcomes
- Participate / establish and lead working groups to enable the delivery of objectives/ requirements set out in the B3R Operational Risk Outcome
- Build and manage key relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders
- Understand stakeholders' objectives, direction, priorities and challenges, managing and addressing concerns and objections
- Foster open communication which anticipates stakeholder expectations
- Champion and embed outstanding service and customer advocacy
Key Experience/Skills Required:
- Significant experience in the delivery of Change within the Finance/Risk/Technology business domain, including in-depth knowledge of the existing processes and solutions in place for Reporting across multiple Risk types and expertise in Cloud technology solutions
- Ideally Operational Risk background
- A good understanding of FIM, policies and procedures related to loss data capture, management & quality
- Recognised analysis, design, development and testing capabilities.
- Skilled in data modelling and analysis
- Data governance expertise/knowledge
- Strong documentation skills, promoting concise and clear written deliverables
- Exceptional drive, motivation and commitment and focus in operational excellence
- Detailed understanding of the Finance/Risk operating model at Group, business and country levels
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with proven ability to handle multiple outputs at the same time
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with proven experience of communicating effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group in a complex global environment
- Outstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills
