Experis Consulting has an exciting and unique opportunity for Cyber Security professionals to receive training to work towards achieving recognised industry qualifications (CompTIA Security, CISSP, ISO27001 Practitioner etc) all whilst working for one of the leading Defence clients within the IT industry. This is a great opportunity to join Experis' ever growing consulting division where you will be trained and developed whilst representing Experis on one of our leading IT accounts.

If you have some commercial experience and have a genuine passion and interest for Cyber Security, then this could be the opportunity for you. This role would be perfectly suited to an individual who has an awareness of the cyber security services delivered to government and commercial clients: including Penetration Testing and Security Health Checks, to Cryptography (Crypt-Key), OSINT and Intrusion Analysis, through to Security Architecture and Consultancy Services.

As part of the extensive training programme, you will receive both on the job, online and classroom-based learning, covering the core fundamentals needed to become a qualified Cyber Security Consultant.

In order to fit the criteria applicants must have existing commercial experience within Cyber Security and you must also possess the following attributes:

  • Problem Solving: Ability to analyse and resolve complex issues
  • Professional commitment to high quality, and a passion for learning new skills
  • Detail oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn new concepts and technologies
  • A strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a geographically disperse working environment
  • Good understanding of cyber security principles
  • Excellent client engagement and listening skills
  • The ability to travel to client sites across the UK
  • The ability to be Security Cleared
