Customer Support Engineer - Fraserburgh (Aberdeenshire) - Initial 2 month contract

Customer Support Engineer (EDBS / PVG Cleared) required to join a reputable ICT support and teaching company focusing on providing on-site support to a school in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire. This is an initial 2 month contract with the view to extend.

Due to the urgent nature of the role and working in the school environment only candidates with full current active PVG /ENHANCED DBS clearance will be considered for the role. If you do not hold FULL EDBS you will not be considered for the role.

Duties:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Troubleshoot and resolve calls
  • Maintain ownership of Incidents, ensuring regular updates are provided to the customer and resolution according to SLA's
  • Escalate calls to 3rd Line Support or Technical Authority

Key Skills

  • Excellent customer service
  • Proven track record using and supporting Windows 7
  • PC/Laptop hardware repair
  • Printer and peripheral repair and maintenance
  • VoIP/Networking/Switching/Patching
  • Active Directory
  • Experience of Laptop/Desktop builds - via tools such as SCCM or MDT Lite Touch would be beneficial
