I am recruiting a Customer Service Coordinator to work within a global market leading engineering company that undertakes critical engineering work worldwide.

If you are from a Customer Service Automotive background this is the perfect opportunity for you to develop your customer relation skills by working as the first point of contact for the Defence, Equipment and Support Project Teams at the forefront of the company's Inventory and Repair Management customer interface. The core duties of the role are to be available to the customer as a single point of contact on their floorplate, to record concerns, issues and requests for information arising from the customer and direct them through to the relevant section for response. Through continuous customer relation development and with your problem solving and resilient attitude you will supported to progress into management level.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Building effective and productive internal and external stakeholder relationships based on trust.
  • Provide an Inventory and Repair Management point of contact for all customer enquiries and requests for information.
  • Recording, classifying and reporting on customer concerns, issues and risks and ensuring accurate responses are returned to the customer in a timely fashion.
  • Monitor and update the tracking of documentation between the customer and Inventory and Repair Management in SharePoint.
  • Production of minutes at key customer facing meetings.
  • Support the Service Excellence Manager with the production of documentation and reports.
  • Escalate any issues to the Service Excellence Manager in a timely manner.
  • Monitor due dates on ICCR, Business Case and other routine outputs.
  • Act as Secretary in formal PT led Monthly Meetings.
  • Support the Service Excellence Manager in ensuring all actions are completed as determined at the meetings.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Willingness to travel within the UK where required, approximately 3 days per month.
  • Experience of Supply Chain Management.

Desirable:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • MCIPS, MBA or Project Management qualifications (i.e. APMP or PRINCE 2).
  • Knowledge of the MoD Supply Chain and Repair Management.
  • Knowledge of the Defence, Equipment and Support.
  • Knowledge of International Trade of Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Trade Controls.
