Customer Relationship Manager - Contract to Perm - Customer Service Strategy - Education Sector Knowledge - Abingdon with some travel to Cardiff

My client is a leading technology provider to the Education Sector and they are seeking a highly Customer focussed Relationship Manager with the ability to plan and deliver an appropriate customer service strategy.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior Stakeholders and will be the primary update and escalation point of contact for all customer related issues. With the ability to manage both internal and external customers, this role also demands strong technical, commercial and operational acumen particularly in the areas of Educational Results, E-Assessments and Data Delivery.

Adept at working within customer focussed environments, this role requires someone with excellent communication skills who can be based in Abingdon with travel once a week to Cardiff.

  • Customer facing environment experience
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Commercial, Technical and Operational Acumen
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills both internal and external
  • Education Sector knowledge is advantageous
  • Business to business relationship management
  • Understanding of service or project management methodologies (e.g. ITIL, PRINCE) are expected
  • An understanding of how software and service organisations operate is key to the role
  • Knowledge of modern IT infrastructures, would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of e-assessment and/or e-testing would be an advantage
