My client, a well-known media/data company based in the City of London, is currently seeking a talented finance professional business fluent in either French or Arabic to join their global finance team.

The finance team is responsible for the whole of the Europe, Middle East and Africa region and would provide an excellent platform for someone who is either just starting their career or wants to build upon their existing financial services experience.

The Job

  • You will be responsible for ensuring the timely receipt of invoices and cash collection.
  • You will work alongside internal departments to answer client queries and bringing them to a resolution.
  • You will work alongside the billing team to resolve pricing issues and terminal inventory disputes, as well as attend regular team meetings with Sales to build strong working relationships and identify key areas for improvement.
  • You will be accountable for a sizeable collections portfolio and meet specific, targeted goals related to the ageing of open receivables
  • You will collaborate with internal teams in order to resolve outstanding issues

The Person

  • The successful candidate will ideally be Degree educated or have the equivalent work experience
  • You will ideally have 1-3 years of recent and relevant experience in accounting operations, corporate collections, and/or accounts receivable.
  • you must have fluency in English and French/Arabic
  • You will have a proven ability of successfully managing a large-scale client account portfolio
  • Previous experience in a customer service or client-facing role essential
  • a knowledge of SAP preferred
  • An interest in finance and/or accounting highly desirable
  • You will demonstrate the ability to multi-task, trouble-shoot and solve complex problems while utilising multiple system interfaces and addressing a high volume of work within a fast-paced environment
  • You will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
