Business Analyst - Customer Management Delivery

Location: Livingston

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analyst in the Customer Management Delivery Team within Customer Business Systems (CBS).

As an Analyst you will:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business issues, challenges and requirements, thereafter developing recommendations and functional specifications supporting the proposed solution
  • Facilitate workshops to elicit requirements from stakeholders and solution options from technology solution designers and developers
  • Collaborate with design, development and test teams to ensure analysis artefacts are fit for purpose and meet the needs of our customers
  • Present functional solution options and/ or showcases to stakeholders and run Q&A sessions with both business and technology stakeholders
  • Own the end-to-end requirements management process for requirements throughout the project life-cycle
  • Provide input to the scope definition for projects, including supporting formal change management processes, in conjunction with the Project Manager
  • Work with both business and technology stakeholders to develop strong relationships
  • Develop "as is" subject matter expertise in defined functional areas
  • Work closely with Technology delivery teams to implement system changes onto Sky's core customer management platform
  • Support other team members and share both process and content knowledge development

Key skills and experience required:

  • Proven business or systems analysis experience working across a variety of different sized projects with the ability to juggle and manage a varied workload
  • Facilitation experience with the ability to run successful workshops from which structured outputs/artefacts can be created in line with agreed workshop objectives
  • Experience of projects in a demanding environment, ideally involving enterprise systems such as CRM, billing, telephony, supply chain management
  • Excellent at requirement gathering using various methods and styles to suit the business needs coupled with a strong technical awareness to be able to communicate to both technical and non-technical parties
  • Excellent requirements specification skills with attention to detail being paramount
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationship at all levels
  • Awareness of both traditional waterfall and agile methodologies and the ability to use both styles to deliver projects depending on their needs
  • Experience of the full system development lifecycle stages and processes

This role will be based in Livingston, West Lothian however some travel to other Sky locations throughout the UK may be required.
