Fancy working with the Europe's leading Entertainment Company? Our client is looking for an Online Copywriter to join their thriving team in London.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:

We're about to start working on an exciting project, where we'll be building a new Help site for an entirely new market. Initially, we're looking for a copywriter who has experience creating and writing copy for websites to help us create content for the new market in the United States. Initially, this will involve taking a base set of help articles and making them fit for purpose for the U.S market (updating language, nomenclature, spellings etc) so we'd require someone ideally who is a native English American speaker. The role has the potential to lead on to further content, copy and article creation for gaps and further enhancements to the U.S proposition.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing 80+ help articles and determining which will require language translation
  • Updating UK English to U.S English across all identified Help articles (for example, all spellings, phrases and language used) to ensure articles have a baseline ready for the U.S market
  • This is likely to lead to further content creation once we move into the next phase of the project

Required Skills:

  • English U.S native speaker
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Experience writing for the web (ideally help based articles)
  • Understands best practice in SEO
  • Microsoft application skills (particularly Powerpoint and Excel)
  • A passion for delivering great online customer experience based on an ability to simplify complexity for the customer

Desirable Skills:

  • Basic understanding of HTML (potentially for further work)
  • A keen eye for web design
  • Knowledge or experience with Content Management Systems

Suitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
