£30,000 - £40,000 + BENEFITS

A world leading security and technology service provider who have invested billions of pounds in their services working with the most high profile clients on the most cutting edge projects. This role is available due to a new project win and team build to support that long-term project.

The Job

You will provide dedicated technical expertise and mentoring to the existing site based Authorised Persons. Providing essential safe system planning and development support to sites and AP resource.

You will be appointed to a number of sites, to provide AP coverage as requested by SAP and Property Operations Managers.

A key part of your new role is to plan and develop safe systems of work for activities in relation to the specialist discipline / area

Ensuring adoption and application of the required safe systems of work; including relevant statutory compliance, across the site

You will monitor & review performance, tracking trends & escalating any issues / concerns / obstacles to the Senior Authorised Person

As the Coordinating Authorised Person you will ensure robust application of health, safety & environmental procedures & processes

Oversee and manage contractors on site; monitoring & ensuring the implementation & performance of tasks allocated

The Fit

You must have previously worked as an Authorised Person and be qualified (Apprenticeship, HNC,HND, NVQ Level 3) in either Mechanical, Electrical or Petroleum discipline

You must also be IOSH Manage Safely qualified

Excellent behavioural skills will be key including communication, attention to detail, personable and innovative thinking

If you have a multi-disciplinary background (electrical HV/LV, mechanical, petroleum, hazardous areas) that would be beneficial but isn't essential

NEBOSH qualified would also be beneficial
