Contract Manager - Commercial & Procurement

A leading public advise and advisory organisation are looking for a Commercial Contract Manager to join their existing team in their Central London Office. The company has a fantastic reputation for offering financial advice to millions of customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

    • Extract key performance indicators from contracts to build business wide performance dashboards
    • Use data to drive value and continuous improvement from contracts
    • Develop a supplier management methodology and work with contract owners to embed in to relationships
    • Share best practice and synergies with grant and partnership managers
    • Act as the main point of contact or escalation for supplier disputes and mediation
    • Ensuring the suppliers have effective and efficient business continuity plans in place that are tested
    • Providing expert advice in contract management for colleagues and to support the process across the wider organisation.
    • Annual supplier financial fitness review
    • Regular market evaluation and networking to understand or emulate best practice

Essential Requirements

    • In depth knowledge of the complete procurement and contract management cycle.
    • Good working knowledge of outsourcing and commissioning cycles,
    • Solid commercial acumen and wide ranging experience.
    • Proven analytical skills.
    • Influencing and complex problem resolution skills.
    • Excellent written and organisational skills.
    • Ability to deliver projects within inter-departmental teams.
    • Strong organisational, time management and planning skills.
    • Experience of working within the public sector would be highly beneficial
