About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join an Aerospace Organisation. The client design and manufacture state of the art Wheels, Brakes and Brake Control Systems for the most advanced civil and military aircraft around the world. Their latest generation of electric brakes are already helping to make flying cleaner and our research teams continue to push the boundaries of braking technology to ensure products remain at the forefront of the industry.

You will be a competent Continuous Improvement Engineer with a good understanding/background of maintenance in order to be able to facilitate the effective and efficient introduction of improvement activities, whilst ensuring compliance with all electrical and mechanical regulations.

What do I need to do the role?

You will need to have a strong maintenance background ideally with a continuous improvement qualification and strong experience in either Kaizen/Six Sigma/Lean manufacturing.

We would also like you to:

  • Be able to work effectively with the maintenance team in order to produce effective CI solutions.
  • Have experience or understanding of certain tools including Lathes / Guillotines / Mills / Plains / CNC machinery
  • Have prior manufacturing experience from a company successfully utilising Continuous Improvement.
  • Have a level 3 qualification in Engineering.
