Community Manager - developer community, outreach and events

Excellent 12 month contract or fixed term role, home based with European travel for leading global technology business. (1-2 nights on average every 3 weeks). Rate circa £280-£320pd or equivalent as an annual salary employed by Experis.

As community manager you will be responsible for building, and growing an external developer community across Innovator and Student Ambassador Programs within UK and European Universities. Managing developer outreach and organising Hackathons, DevJams etc and fostering developer influence, developer proof points and program affinity for developing software aligned to the organisation.

Responsibilities will include;
Defines and executes Intel sponsored events focused on developer engagement, developer training, project prototyping such as; local meetups DevJams, Hackathons, Innovator Labs, Ambassador Labs, Ambassador Forums, Ultimate Coder Challenge.
Supports their invited developers at industry trade shows as booth duty staff to their demo and host of member dinners and planned activities at events
Voice of the programs, externally and internally. Monitors and responds to member activity online.
Authors content, posts social media, engages program members to actively represent program value and program engagement.
Meets with stakeholders, product teams, BU partners to communicate developer feedback and communicate programs offering and value
Works with Content Team to identify Affinity Members who can author technical content for their program focus
Scouts for new Affinity Members, invites into the program and onboards Actively encourages Affinity Members of participation, feedback, posting and self reporting of activities into the program.
Connects them to Affinity Program resources for communication, reporting, operations and logistics to aid in their success
Hosts feedback and engagement opportunity to report out program opportunities
