Communications Specialist

Location: Sheffield

We have an opportunity for a Communications Specialist to join Experis on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of our Employed Consultant team, on site with a multi-national technology company based in Sheffield. Key Responsibilities:

  • Following the agreed communications schedule and providing insight to evolve the plan as required.
  • Managing the production of content to agreed timelines including sourcing information, writing/production, review, sign off and delivery.
  • Ensure that all key messages internally and externally are coordinated and communicated consistently and appropriately throughout the year; refine as necessary based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Drive the execution and coordination across all internal and external channels, including social media, events, digital communications, award submissions and others.
  • Aligning communications with the appropriate style guide and organisational strategy.
  • Managing events including creating and issuing invites, managing attendance lists, creating content and managing logistics.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Communications experience, with a passion for producing content.
  • A strong writer with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Strong ability to communicate with and influence internal and external stakeholders, as well as executive management and leadership teams
  • Able to translate complex topics into simple and meaningful messages.
  • Demonstrated strong organisational skills.
  • Comfortable with working in a busy, project environment with evolving priorities and competing stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via different channels.
  • A delivery focus and ability to get the job done.
