Communications Specialist

This is an amazing opportunity to work alongside the Communications Lead for Technical Services with our well known worldwide technology systems client, to develop a communications centre-of-excellence. The candidate we are looking for would be a proactive, detailed orientated and energetic individual who must have a minimum of 1-3 years' communications or programme management experience and the ability to work effectively & prioritizing the tasks in a high-pressure environment.

The role touches upon all of the marketing communications disciplines:

  • End-to-end communications project management
  • Understanding audiences and segmentation
  • Creative development from storyboarding to content delivery
  • When to use and how to get the most out of internal (Clients own social networking platform, internal TV events) and external (social media) communications channels
  • How to measure the success of campaigns

What You Will Do:

  • Be a part of creating and evolving an integrated communications plan
    * Keeping the team on track by establishing a calendar of communications activities and vehicles
    * Make sure that there is a constant flow of interesting information to the team through various internal newsletters
    * Help the team update the internal online employee community (there will be a change of platform during the maternity leave cover)
    * Curate the submissions for existing communication channels in the broader organization to spread the word and increase visibility
    * Work closely with lots of different teams and people who reside across the world
    * Always support and help drive the team's value proposition through communications

    * Someone who is excited about working and collaborating with people who sit in different offices and has the ability to form relationships across the region


  • 1-3 years' communications or programme management experience
    * Ability to work effectively, prioritizing the tasks in a high-pressure environment
    * Strong written communication skills
    * Detailed editing and proofreading skills
    * Excellent English* language skills
    * Excellent Microsoft office suite skills (especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    * Video editing skills an advantage
