Communications Lead

We are actively looking to secure a Communications Lead to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Purpose of the Role:

To ensure that all change initiatives in Go-To-Market (GTM) are understood, that users are prepared to adopt the new ways of working ensuring that business processes, working practices, systems and support structures across the business are adjusted to drive tangible and non-tangible business benefits.

Communications Lead will support the F&R GTM Transformation in developing and managing all communications programme outputs for the GTM business - including those for external, internal, industry and other stakeholder groups globally, regionally and domestically - as well as support cross-business group initiatives.

Working closely with the teams in other F&R business units and corporate functions, the Communications Lead will ensure that GTM communications are aligned with the F&R enterprise-wide initiatives and meets the customers' messaging needs.

Strategic Planning

  • Develop GTM communications strategies, programmes and plans in partnership with the central F&R Communications, Marketing and Human Resources teams a to accelerate awareness, understanding, belief and actions by employees that reflect both the F&R business and Customer priorities.
  • Advise and support senior leadership for internal and external communications programmes and initiatives; provide consulting, implementation and overall communications support to business partners.
  • Coordinate GTM business communications with Corporate, Human Resources and Marketing teams to avoid duplication and inconsistent messaging.

Communications Delivery

  • Understand the end-to-end employee and customer journeys and embed them within the themes of the GTM business communications.
  • Partner with the Business Communications Planning and Operations (BCPO) team to implement and oversee appropriate channels for internal and external communications to deliver messages efficiently and seamlessly; coordinate planning and execution with F&R Marketing teams for consistency and to maximize impact.
  • Ensure that all key messages internally and externally are coordinated and communicated consistently and appropriately throughout the year; refine as necessary based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Drive the execution and coordination across all internal and external channels, including social media, events, digital communications, award submissions and others.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Communications, Enterprise Messaging, Global Brand Marketing and fellow Business Communications colleagues to make sure all groups are aligned when dealing with external audiences, enterprise storylines and opportunities.
  • Develop a strong partnership with Corporate Communications

Coordination

  • Help create and manage overall communications planning processes
  • Lead communication professionals in formal, informal and virtual teams
  • Build and maintain a cohesive and efficiently operating partnership with the Business Communications Operations team.

Project Communications

  • Clearly define communications requirements so the teams can develop common comprehensive communication projects in support of key business strategies, from identifying initial business objectives and creating strategic plans to directing development of relevant editorial content that promotes key business unit themes and drives behavioural change.

Preferred Experience and Capabilities

  • Bachelor degree
  • Extensive experience in internal and external communications
  • Strategic thinker who understands commercial business priorities
  • Knowledge of Financial & Risk and adjacent industries or willingness to develop deep expertise regarding the Financial & Risk business's customers, issues and opportunities.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
