A revered and leading Cloud Solutions & Telephony and IT Network Services Provider are seeking an experienced Cloud Telephony Projects / Collaboration Engineer based preferably within the North Home Counties area. their global financial client in the heart of London's financial arena. To be considered for this post you will be of professional character, client facing and personable coupled with a consultative DNA.

The role is predominantly client facing and projects focused assisting the design and delivery but there is also a requirement to assist other IT support functions and SME's in situations and escalations determined by your Engineering Lead and Professional Services Director.

  • Engage with third party vendors, such as Cisco TAC or other.
  • Routing Protocols - OSPF, BGP
  • WAN media, such as MPLS, Leased Line, Internet, VPN, SSL
  • Switching and L3 - ACI, HSRP, NTP, STP, RSTP, QoS, CoS, SVI, VLAN's, and ACL's
  • Security - Firewalls - Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, ACL's, CSM, multi context firewalls
  • Wireless - Cisco Wireless LAN controllers and AP's
  • WAN Acceleration - Riverbed
  • SolarWinds Orion
  • MS Active Director - Group Policy

Your Operational Requirements Will Include:

  • Travel to client sites offering a consultative DNA and a questioning mind
  • Implementing Technical Collaboration Projects
  • Provide on-site client support to customers regarding technical implementation, queries/faults.
  • Where necessary offer customer a high-level of consultancy diagnosis to resolve an issue.
  • Dial into customer units if possible, in order to diagnose/rectify problem.
  • To adhere to department and customer SLA's.
  • Prioritize calls in line with SLA's and customer support
