You'll have the opportunity to work flexibly on highly technical cutting edge projects, enabling customers to protect, improve and advance their vital interests.The RoleWe're looking for a Cloud Engineer to be responsible for the technical design, implementation and operations of public cloud environments. You'll work within an ever-changing, growing environment shaping technical best practices and working in conjunction with Architects, Product Owners, Systems Engineers and other business stakeholders to deliver assigned project tasks.You'll be required to implement designs to ensure security, scalability and robustness of all created services, advising on scope, interfaces and estimate project development effort. The position will also involve working with other engineers to provide consistent and novel ways of working, design patterns and cross-team workingKey SkillsPrevious experience as an Engineer for cloud infrastructure or cloud-hosted software is essential, as well as an understanding of emerging cloud services and data architectures. You'll have worked within an agile software development environment, using DevOps CI/CD practices with either knowledge of AWS or Azure. A good use and understanding of tooling such as Git, Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation will be useful.You'll hold an industry recognised cloud certification and having some experience working with sensitive information in a secure environment will be advantageous but not essential. Additionally, you'll have worked with a number of agile workflow tools such as JIRA or Confluence and frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS.
