Business Support Executive (Commissioning)

This role is working for our not-for-profit client, who are based in Holborn, to ensure that their clients across the UK receives the best advice possible (at a time that is appropriate and convenient) through effective support to the Commissioning Team.

They will be responsible for maintaining and building various tools and products that help improve the quality, consistency and availability of debt advice across the whole sector. The successful candidate will provide support in establishing and maintaining strong relations with organisationa that our client funds to provide debt advice.

Essential Criteria

  • Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
  • A pro-active individual with a high level of integrity and discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to juggle competing workloads and deadlines, while ensuring excellent attention to detail and accuracy at all times.
  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of groups and individuals internally and externally.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team and manage/ influence others to meet deadlines and required standards.
  • Ability to accurately and effectively manage a variety of business management tasks
  • Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing, with specific expertise in agenda preparation, minute taking and letter writing.
  • Strong organisational, time management and planning skills.
  • Event management knowledge and experience.
  • Advanced experience with MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of working in a matrix-type environment and leading or contributing to multi-functional project teams.
  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Able to work in matrixed environments and to build and sustain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders throughout the organisation.

There may occasionally be some out of office hours working required to deliver this role effectively.
