Business Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of business change including planning and implementing changes to products and services to meet customer, business, regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Manage any interdependencies across projects/programmes and leverage synergies across projects/programmes to maximize return on investment.
  • Work closely with customers and colleagues to analyse the performance of the existing product set and identify and recommend new solutions to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement new business change processes, systems, products and services whilst reviewing the to-be business process design to understand organisation/role impacts and create role descriptions for business process roles.
  • To implement initiatives that deliver high Operational and Service Performance and that are reusable, adaptable and transferable.
  • To provide clear direction to Colleagues through the setting of clear objectives and requirements as occasionally will manage others through matrix structure
  • All colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Policies and Policy Standards

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prince2 Practitioner certified / Scrum Master certified
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and techniques
  • Extensive project management experience
  • Strong and proven track record in Project Management and preferably a good knowledge of the payment card business
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of differing size at any one time
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to gain commitment from senior stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills to deliver objectives
  • Good knowledge of regulatory and governance standards
  • Excellent communicator with colleagues and suppliers at all levels
  • Attention to detail, requirements gathering and elicitation
  • An ability to rapidly get to the root cause of a problem and identify actions to resolve
  • Strong commercial and financial skills
  • Customer orientated - understands how our internal activities affect our customers
  • Flexibility in working hours - off-shore teams and deadline driven
