Business Process Analyst

Telford - Frequent travel to several sites around the UK expected

The primary purpose of the Business Process Analyst is to work with Team Managers to identify missing processes, run workshops to map out the process, document the process, gain approval and then implement.

This will be achieved by:

  • Taking full ownership of end to end Process mapping, design and documentation
  • Liaising with a wide variety of Stakeholders / Management to define their requirements
  • Use varied Requirements elicitation techniques to fully scope the needs of the organisation
  • Take full ownership or own workload and work independently on multiple different work streams with the programme
  • Identify areas for process improvement, and respond accordingly
  • Ensure requirements are appropriately challenged with the benefits and success criteria agreed and signed off by the business stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively within project to ensure solution is clear and development meets business requirements.

All output (processes) will be in both flowchart format and word format and will be stored centrally

Skills and experience:

  • Strong business process modelling skills (as-is and to-be)Develop and implement new and improved processes
  • The ability to work with a range of stakeholders across organisation levels including requirements engineering and workshop facilitation
  • Experience of presenting process flows in electronic tools
  • The skills to write succinct and focused business reports and process analysis to map processes
  • Experience of developing solutions based upon evidence of user needs
  • Experience of interpreting complex data and evidence, and recommending practical actions to meet organizational objectives
  • Proven track-record of delivering solutions that add value to users and/or the business
  • Facilitation of activities within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate precisely, both written and verbal.
