Business Development Manager (Electrified Powertrain and Electronics)

Midlands OR East

£60,000-£80,000 + £5500 car allowance + benefits

Business Development Manager (Electrified Powertrain and Electronics) required to join a global consultancy company to work within their automotive sector as a lead for powertrain electrification, hybridisation and electronic systems. This will be a business development role particularly in the area of Hybrid Systems integration.

As Business Development Manager (Electrified Powertrain and Electronics) your everyday activities will consist of maintaining and expanding a large portfolio of companies as well as generating global relationships with existing and potential new companies. You will also be required to understand and work with highly technical teams of engineers to support project delivery.

The ideal Business Development Manager (Electrified Powertrain and Electronics) will come from an Engineering or Business background and have a good understanding of Electrified Powertrain and Electronics, although a technical engineering qualification may not be necessary. You must have experience working within an automotive environment and several years of experience generating proposals and bids for clients.

A candidate with a deep understanding of automotive market trends, a background in hybrid/electronic systems integration or knowledge in battery systems, electrical integration, control integration, e-machines or power electronics will be preferred.

* A strong track record of hybrid and/ or electronic vehicle product development within the automotive industry, ideally leading to volume production

* Strong leadership and ability to coordinate and lead multi-disciplined teams

* Strong technical background in battery systems, electrical integration, control integration, e machines, power electronics)
