My client, a market-leading company who provide integrated technology solutions, are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to join the team. Based in Glossop, you will be responsible for building new client relationships, with the view of bringing on new clients/business some of which will be based in the UK and continental Europe.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- Self-motivated to source new business
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of growing business
- Proven experience of owning a sale across the full lifecycle through to closure and account management
- Proven track record of working to KPI's and achieving growth and new business targets
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Strong influencing and communication skills, both verbal and written, to develop relationships internally and externally to the business
- Proactive individual with a drive to exceed expectations
- A full driving licence is essential for the position.
