Role: Business Design Lead-RTGS

Location: London

Duration: 8 months

My Client is looking for an experienced Business Design Lead to join the project based in London for 8 months.

Role Activities:

The Business Design Lead will report to the Programme Director and work across the RTGS Renewal Programme to document a suite of Target Operating Model related artefacts. These will consist of the current operating model (including assessment of any further opportunities to improve service delivery), target operating model and the transition states between the two.

Skills/ Experience:

  • Experience of developing end-to-end operating models at the early stages of the programme life-cycle
  • Knowledge of target operating models and transformation business case.
  • Experience related to supporting large and complex financial services change programmes including people, process and technology development.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams on complex design and programme delivery environments
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture modelling.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry with specific functional expertise in Risk.
  • Understanding of business transformation frameworks and best practice.
  • Experience of working in application, data, process and organisation design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and business sponsors this includes creating concise and impactful communication.
  • Ability to maintain a strategic perspective and support decision making at that level.
  • Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness in developing architectures and understanding of business cases / benefits mapping.
  • Ability to perform tasks associated with business analysis / design and change delivery including:
  • Portfolio/project definition & planning.
  • Operating model, process and organisation design.
  • Systems requirements definition and understanding of functional mapping.
  • Change & implementation management.

Qualifications

  • TOGAF certified (desirable)
