Business Change Manager - LONDON - £650-£800 - 3-6 months

The work location is in Paddington, LONDON and is a 3 - 6 months contract.

The pay rate on offer is between £650 - £800 per day.

The role is working for a well established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.

We are looking for a highly effective Business Change professional who has a great track record in developing and delivering change interventions that engage stakeholders and really make change stick. They will have high emotional intelligence and practical experience of supporting individuals, teams and functions adopt new behaviours, processes, tools and technologies.

Reporting into the Business Change Lead, the Business Change Manager's key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting assessment of business areas' current Agile capability and development of the associated Transformation Roadmap
  • Developing a comprehensive set of interventions that will enable and embed changes
  • Creating a plan for delivery the above and delivering effectively against that plan
  • Supporting leaders and managers to role model, drive and embed change
  • Managing a group of Change Agents
  • Working with the Business Change Lead and the Communications Manager to effectively engage stakeholders
  • Aligning business change efforts with our change initiatives
  • Assessing business readiness
  • Supporting capability development.

Key experience

  • Agile environment experience preferred
  • Previous experience in successful managing changes to ways of working, tools, technology and behaviours
  • Awareness of the theories of change and change management methodologies and tools
  • Easily able to understand complex and varied business areas and their priorities
  • The ability to develop a comprehensive Business Change Plan and innovative change management interventions
  • Great at articulating the value of Business Change and associated plans and activities
  • Effective at partnering with others to plan, develop and deliver effective change interventions, including Communications, Learning and Development, Recruitment and HRBP colleagues
  • Skilled at taking people on a journey and navigating differing cultures within an organisation
  • World-class written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and build credibility quickly.
