You will define the target vision and advocate it to stakeholders, define the characteristics of the solution and identify solutions optimised by business value and risk.

Job Role:

Working with the Corporate PMO and wider Business Enablement Team, your role is central to the resolution of enterprise-level operational constraints and defining the future direction of key change programs within the client. You will be performing the following activities:

  • Develop business architecture to address key operational challenges - such as capacity planning, resource management, product life-cycle
  • Provide input to the definition, elaboration and critical review of business requirements for enterprise solutions
  • Define target business capability and high-level business processes; support business analysts in the development of detailed business processes
  • Define high-level data structures and data definitions, support development of detailed physical and logical data models
  • Produce and achieve approvals for relevant design documentation for solutions
  • Support planning of solution implementation and business readiness activities
  • Conduct analysis of potential solutions / tools and provide SME input to procurement decisions
  • Provide SME input to business cases and investment requests for change programs

Required Skills/Experience

  • Expert understanding of enterprise operations, including strategy, processes and capabilities and enabling technologies
  • The ability to recognise structural issues within the organisation, functional inter-dependencies and cross-silo redundancies
  • The ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions
  • The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organisation and to high-priority business issues
  • Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business
  • The ability to visualise and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture
  • Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives
  • Ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups with a wide range of competencies from commercial roles to technical experts, and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to deliver product changes
  • Strong communication skills with business stakeholders and technical team members, including experience working with virtual teams and close collaboration with offshore teams is an advantage
