Business Analyst - User Interface (UI) / SDLC

Customer facing User Interfaces

Your key responsibilities:

As a Business Analyst in the UI development team, it's your job to maintain the link between the business and software development teams; working with architects, product leads and designers to ensure each feature is fully defined.

  • Analyse Product requirements, UI/UX and technical implementation documentation for new features
  • Create user stories and supporting documentation for the development team to deliver features
  • Present user stories to the development team
  • Work closely with the development team to deliver features
  • Work with product leads to ensure each feature is well defined
  • Work with technical architects to understand and support the detailed design and implementation
  • Work with UI-UX designers to ensure we have wireframes/designs for each feature
  • Manage the product backlog
  • Follow and advocate agile practices and principles

Your skills:

  • Proven software engineering experience with a sound appreciation of all aspects of the software lifecycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience of working on front end user interfaces
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience of working with agile development teams
  • Experience of working with API's (desirable)
  • Requirements management experience (JIRA and Confluence)

Required Skills:

  • Experience of working on customer facing user interfaces - for example other TV products, apps, Windows or Mac applications.
  • Previous experience as an Analyst or a Product Owner or Product Lead role

Desirable Skills:

  • Testing experience
