We are passionate about training, technology and career development.Role DescriptionThe Business Analyst will work as part of the IT project team and act as the conduit between our Clients business Stakeholders and the scrum team, to ensure the business requirements are comprehensively understood in order to produce a viable technology solution.Responsibilities:Provide subject matter expertise about our systems and processes to varied parties throughout the business and technology areasWorks with stakeholders to understand business issues, challenges and requirementsBuilds strong relationships with our external stakeholdersFacilitate workshops to elicit requirements from stakeholders and evaluate solution options in collaboration with Solution Architects, Technical Analysts and DevelopersPresent functional solution options and/ or showcases to stakeholders and run Q&A sessions with both business and technology stakeholdersActing as the expert for a project, ensuring that business objectives are considered and requirements are met throughout the lifecycle of that projectLiaise with other delivery teams within the business to ensure key dependencies are identified, managed, solutions agreed and communicated to stakeholders as appropriateDeliver the project using our Agile processes, working collaboratively with other teams in our department, including development, testing and support teamsSupports continuous improvement, identifying ways to improve overall ways of working, to support the implementation of changes / improvements to working practice and to support adherence to processes designed to improve ways of working.Key Skills:Understanding of the full Software Development LifecycleAbility / desire to learn quicklyGreat team playerGood interpersonal skills with the ability to manage expectations and to explain detail to both technical and non-technical audiencesProblem solving skills - logical approach to problem solvingA methodical, investigative and inquisitive mindGreat oral and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, pro-activeAdaptable / flexibleBusiness awareKey skills and experience required:Proven business or systems analysis experience working across a variety of different sized projects with the ability to juggle and manage a varied workloadFacilitation experience with the ability to run successful workshops from which structured outputs/artefacts can be created in line with agreed workshop objectivesExperience of projects in a demanding environment, ideally involving enterprise systems such as CRM, billing, telephony, supply chain managementExcellent at requirement gathering using various methods and styles to suit the business needs coupled with a strong technical awareness to be able to communicate to both technical and non-technical partiesExcellent requirements specification skills with attention to detail being paramountExcellent communication & stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationship at all levelsAwareness of both traditional waterfall and agile methodologies and the ability to use both styles to deliver projects depending on their needsExperience of the full system development lifecycle stages and processesIf you have the above skills, please submit your CV in the first instance.
